Except for immediate danger warnings and perhaps music, the most important signal to which we listen is speech.  I am trying to understand and communicate how we hear speech communication.  Hearing impairment and cohorts that use different devices in their perception of speech are of particular interest to me as I am an audiologist and have a hearing impairment.
