Simultaneously, its cinemas are undergoing changes in many respects, in terms of genres and aesthetics as well as of production and distribution. The objective of this conference is to address and discuss the implications of both novel and past intercultural meetings for European cinemas and their consequences on its history, identity and evolution through discourses of aesthetics, politics and industry.
