Exam registration

Exam registration usually takes place in the middle of September and February respectively for the Autumn and Spring semesters. If you do not register for and sit exams, you will not receive any credits for courses taken at the faculty. You can register for exams online through KUnet or by contacting the international student counsellor or exam secretary at the department.

It is important that you indicate the name of the lecturer who will conduct the examination and the type of exam that you want to sit; it will often be possible to choose between written and oral examination. If you wish to explore the exam types that a certain study programme offers, you can read more in the curriculum (for an indication of where to find the curriculem, please contact an international student counsellor).

Requirements for written home assignments

Danish exams are quite formal, and the requirements for the number of pages and characters of a written home assignment are strict. You must hand in three copies of your written assignments. You can familiarise yourself with your study programme's deadlines and guidelines on its exam website or contact one of our exam secretaries:

Grading

It may take up to two months before you receive your grade for a written home assignment because your lecturer and a co-examiner or an external examiner must agree on your grade to ensure objective grading. Your grades will be posted on KUnet or the study programme's website.
