Study environment
The international student counsellors will do their very best to make sure you receive relevant information about all the cultural activities and events that are planned for exchange and guest students during the year. The International Office will also let you know when relevant events and gatherings take place.
The departmental café
The departmental café "Kaffebaren", which you can find in room 22.0.61, is run by student volunteers and an important social meeting point in which you can meet fellow students, read newspapers, play board games and buy cheap food and drinks. Furthermore, the student café arranges Friday bar nights and international student cafés during the semester where you'll get the opportunity to meet other international students and their mentors.
Kaffebaren is open Monday to Friday from 10:00-16:00, but it is also possbile to book the café if you need a place to hold a student meeting, throw a party etc.
