Brian Lystgaard Due (Modtager)
Priskomitéen udvalgte Brian Due som vinder af KU’s Innovationspris 2022 med følgende begrundelse:
“Associate Professor Brian Due receives the Innovation Award 2022 for his substantial efforts to turn basic humanistic insights into novel solutions with direct impact for citizens who are visually impaired. His cross-disciplinary and cross-institutional collaborations have led to spinoff companies, training materials, prototypes and business concepts. Thus, the work of Associate Professor Brian Due illustrates the breadth and depth of university innovation – not by the number of patents but by the number of people with an improved quality of life”.
Som vinder af KU’s Innovationspris modtager Brian Due udover æren et lille kunstværk og en check på 25.000 kr.
